Aqua

The look that I'm wearing today is an Aqua look.
I really like it because it makes my brown eyes really pop.
I used my NYX Make-up Artist Box and my BareMinerals Azure eyeshadow.

On My Nails Today

Woo! Essie's Smokin' Hot. Man, when I bought this color, both my mom and I thought it would be a disaster! But I've been wearing this color for about a week now (too lazy to change it) and I love love love it.

(No, no pictures of my nails because they're short and stubby. ._.) The picture has a hard time accurately representing the nail polish.
AH.
But, that's it for now.

Peacock!

I saw this look on Pinterest, and I decided to replicate it.
I used my NYX Make-up Artist Box and Blackheart Liquid Eyeliner.

Ugh, there was a little blip with my eyeliner and that upsets me.

I hope you enjoy c:

Tools of the Trade

Since I've decided to do this blogging thing, I've decided to show you exactly what I work with.

First off, my pride and joy, the NYX Make-up Artist Box. It was a gift from one of my mother's friend who thought I would enjoy it more than she would. (And she's right!) Its beat up a bit, but it works.

Next up, my Blackheart Liquid Eye Liner. It was another gift from my dear friend Sasha. You can see the faint green glitter. Its great because it dries quick and doesn't smudge.

And now, my three Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows. They're in the colors Painted Purple, Pomegranate Punk, and Audacious Asphalt. (They were not gifts, I spent my money on them. They're really nice for the price.

Oh my, this is a favorite of mine. I was online looking for makeup tutorials a few months ago, and I ran across a review of the Wet N Wild ColorIcon collection. It was recommended, so I picked it up at the local drug store, in the shade I'm Feeling Retro. Its beautiful, really.

My friend and I were looking for a perfect shade of foundation for her at Bare Minerals, and I saw this, Bare Minerals Azure. I bought it on the spot. No hesitating, nothing. I have two photos, one of the packaging and one to show the sparkle.
Seriously look at that sparkle.

When I was 6, I was in Louisville and I bought two sparkly eyeshadows at a Rainbow Blossom. Honestly,  I have no idea the brand, but its so pretty. Here's Bewitched Sand and Pixie Dust. (Top, Pixie Dust. Bottom, Bewitched Sand)

Isn't it beautiful?
Anyways, if you're wondering about anything, just comment!

Howdy c:

Hello internet! I'm your friendly neighborhood beauty blogger. I'm just a tad awkward, and just a lot obsessed with makeup and all things beauty.
On this blog, I plan on doing color swatches to inform the public of ways to do makeup.
If requested, I'll do makeup tutorials, and I'll probably be doing a "nail of the day" post as often as possible.

Enough about the blog - Here's about me. I'm Hailey Serenity, I'm from Kentucky, and I love love love makeup. Not to mention my two lovely cats, Siam and Alexa, and my mom's dog Lola. I'm taking a Japanese class and I'm learning much more than I anticipated. Oh my.

I'll stop all my rambling and leave you to your other internet-y business like Tumblr or Facebook or Pinterest.
With love, Hailey. xx
